Open Single-Piece Shirt

Open single-piece shirt from Swiss cotton, french seamed, half buttoned, with standing collar, darted yoke and pleated back. The sleeve is a single piece set in sleeve, including the built in placket and cuff. Draped entirely on the body and arms of a man named Elmar in Reykjavik.

Cut with a Lightning Machine Company Swift 928.

Sewn on a Juki DDL 5550-6, Pfaff 463-6 modded for binding, 

Singer 71-32, and by Hand-held Needle.  

This uneven plain weave is 100% cotton and woven in a Swiss mill, and cold dyed in Reykjavík.  The hand attached shank buttons are drop cast in our studio from oxidised metal alloy.
